the immigration issue has been going on for years so yes this is a scapegoat to all the incompetency and the cruelty happening in Iraq and right here in America . not wonder it has become an issue for the Republicans they had accomplished the opposite to making America successful and had created a huge irresponsible debt . this is just a distraction while they take millions of dollars from the Americans and abuse other countries while everyone is focused in the wrong thing .

What point of illegal immigration did you miss? A country without laws to protect its citizens is an anarchy. The immigrants that came here illegally broke the law. And by the way, you missed another point. Mexico/South America was settled by the Spanish, the French, and the Dutch/Germans ay various times. Their people are about as indigenous as ours. So if you think that European blood is the problem, then you have to look at 80% of the population of the countries you named as "foreigners" to these continents. Of yes, and by the way I am a second generation descendant of an American Indian. You are spouting gobbledygook.

The immigration debate has nothing to do with Iraq, it does have something to do with national security. If a truck can drive across the border with live people, imagine how easy it would be to get a nuke across. An the Iraq wAR is not a massacre. our soldiers ar fighting for our freedom. we are winning and Iraqis are dying. that's what happens in war, people die. i will agree that our system needs change, but don't criticize the troops, it could just as easily be you over there and not them. you should thank them, with that attitude you wouldn't last.

I don't know if illegal immigration is the scapegoat for Iraq, but it certainly is a distraction. However, in today's world there are problems all over and big issues will contine to be eclipsed by other major turning points.

NO!!! The ILLEGAL immigration thing has been going on for YEARS,this is NOT something new,it has just gotten WAY out of hand though!! Illegals have been sneaking into this country for over TWENTY years, that i know of!! The reason the ILLEGALS are in the limelight,is because THEY put themselves there,by their marches and crap! And, EXCEPT for those that live in border states, everyone ELSE was blissfully unaware of the problems we are having with illegals, and with the sheer NUMBERS of them in our country!
Oh, and you think the Iraqi terrorists don't kill their OWN people?? Remember Hussein??? HE massacred his OWN people!!! These PSYCHOS do NOT care who they kill!!! At least OUR guys try NOT to kill innocent people!! Most of the Iraqi's are grateful to the U.S. for freeing them from SADISTIC dictator!!! You must be watching to much of the LIBERAL news media!

whatever, the indians lost their wars with the United States, Mexico lost its' war with the United States, so did Germany, Japan, and, h'mmm, I'm sure I'm leaving somebody out here...oh yeah, England lost their war with the United States, too. So, now there's 50 states, and millions of people walking around believing they're entitled to something.
Well, I say 'how about a job'? How about reforming your home country so you don't have all these problems to run away from?
It's not like the United States hasn't basically showered money on about half the countries in the world, AND troweled it on for the indians, too, but no 'thank you's forthcoming, just more gimme gimme gimme, "I'm entitled" etc. When's the damn welfare office close?
I'm a caucasian, so you can get your 'white people' hate on if you want, but I'd appreciate it if you hear me out before you start sharpening rocks and tomahawks and throwing em at me. I've worked damn near every year since I've gotten out of high school. I've quit counting how many jobs I've held, because it's mentally painful, and beside the point. I've never had a slave, never taken welfare, don't think I'm better than anybody else because of my skin color. But: There's ONE thing I do take offense at, and that's people trying to treat our country like a giant piggy-bank, or their personal ***** etc. Get off your butt, knock that chip off your shoulder, get a job, get a clue, and get over yourself. America's already a hodge-podge of people from ALL over the world, from ALL walks of life, and do you see most of them waiting and whining? No. Why is that? Because they know it's the wrong way to approach life. Equality? Done deal. Voting? Done deal. Bring in half of Mexico to live off the american taxpayer? HELL no! Not just no, but HELL no! Mexico can stand up and wipe its' own ***...not like we haven't given them ungodly sums over the years, too. Enough is ENOUGH. Have done with it. Put the past IN the past, and join the rest of the 21st century. Times are tough all over, but they're even TOUGHER if you just sit there, crying about it. I'm all for smashing 3/4 of the stupid welfare system, just get rid of it, and half of these other stupid entitlement programs, too. If our country stopped giving out free money, I'll bet half the folks trying to get in right now would do a 180 and go home.
The wars are over. Bury the hatchet, and the attitude, in the same hole. If you wanna milk your indian heritage or something, go get a grant and open up a casino. That way you can pillage white people all day long! LOL Call me when you buy your 20th mercedes-benz from that...just don't presume to tell me I owe you something. Thanks.

I agree with you 100%, of course the gov is using immigration to distract attention from what's going on in Iraq.

It probably was intended to be, but the plan didn't work. Plus, they interlock with one another (open borders can lead to the possibility that terrorists can enter) so it was a good think the issue was brought up. ;)
