stylized fighters can fight like wolverines.
just because a person learned a style and certain ways to move doesnt mean they will use them that way.

Probably Krav Maga is more practical for street defense. Attack Proof by John Perkins is a very good book. Bad habits are learned in stylized martial arts that are more form than actual practical help in the real chaotic fight for ones life in the street. You need to attack critical points that end the confrontation in seconds. You never want to spar or get on the ground. There is no martial arts against a fighter who fights like a wolverine, who does whatever it takes to win, especially cheat.
