That's a complicated question. Yes, they are all Christian but Christianity is an odd religion, really. Even if you have a same based religion, one branch of that religion is going to think that they're better than the others. And that's not limited to Christianity. Muslim's are divided into two groups: Sunnis and Shiites and they hate each other. It doesn't matter if it's the same religion, some people are always going to believe they're better than everyone else. Religions just a boundary we like to push down each other's throats.

No. A real Christian is someone who has been saved by God's grace. Catholics (and certain other "Christian" denominations) believe that they can get to heaven by their good works and if they're "doing the best they can". Baptists, as a whole, don't hate Protestants. I'm a Baptist and I don't hate anyone. Catholics normally have a dislike for Baptists because we speak freely against their teachings.

Well Catholics hate Protestants because they have and still protest against Catholicism... Baptists are Protestants so they dont hate Protestants. Otherwise, it isnt a matter of hate so much as thinking the other denomination is teaching falsehoods. This should be hated by all believers. No believer should want false teachings taught though it doesnt mean to go and hate the followers.

Yes, they are all Christian but a lot of people hold stereotypes because they simply don't understand the other religion. Or they've met one individual they didn't like and judged the whole group by that one person. I blame it all on judgment and intolerance. I'm a Catholic Christian with friends who are Jewish, Baptist, Lutheran, Methodist, etc and I don't see why we can't all get along and respect each other.

One thing I learned last night on "our Secret Paradise" BY: Jimmy Evens is: Religion (baptists, Protestants, Catholics, etc) is what people on earth believe on how to get to heaven Christians are the ones who seek The Father and live out what is in the Bible and they (we) don't live for the worldly things. Do you get it
We are taught to love that is the greatest commandment to love thy God and Love thy Neighbor
In my church we know that the greatest wepon we have against the world is LOVE. SO No Dear we do not hate. If you hear them say they hate God will deal with them maybe it is because of misunderstands but all in all it is a heart issue. No one knows everyones heart like the Lord does

I don't hate other religions. I believe that Jesus shed his blood on the cross for me, so I could be forgiven for my sins. I think most Christians don't hate other religions, they just are not the true gospel. You can not be a christian and hate anyone. If you do you need to take a serious look at your own salvation. There will be all denominations and races in heaven. Not all so called religions are true ones. In the end of time there will be many false religions. I do believe this to be true in our time now. This is how the Antichrist will come to be, through false religions.

Baptists are protestants. The christian religion is divided into 2 subgroups, catholics and protestant. every christian is either one or the other. And sadly, most of the hatred is from the neo-christian sects, off-shoots of the baptist sect the pentecostals and southern baptists who are generally uneducated in religion and base their beliefs on revelations.

People hate. That is truth, there are a lot of reasons people hate others. It can be for religious purposes and stereotypes that they themselves believe. We all have to realize that as unique individuals we are worthwhile people and our neighbors whether they be of another religion creed or color are worthwhile to the Lord and therefore to us. I am sorry you feel this way. If you are of any religion and feel hatred because of it that is a shame and I hope that one day no one feels that way. And yes, all of those religions are under the "religious umbrella" of Christianity, but there are major differences...but we are all His people, He loves us no matter what we should have no quarrel with our brothers and sisters in the Lord.

Good question. One time I was on the train and my friend wanted to invite a woman to church. The woman said she already goes to church. But the thing is that she didn't smile once and looked very bothered for even being "bothered". I think some Christians should stop playing Christian and get with the program! Jesus said love thy neighbor as yourself. Where's the love?

I guess you haven't heard:
John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
Joh 13:35 By this shall all [men] know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
Jesus is speaking here, and He has given us the sign by which we can recognize His disciples...
Always remembering that nobody is perfect, as a general rule, a Christian will show love, not only for other Christians, but for people in general. If this sign is missing, the person in question may call him/herself a Christian, go to church, and go through all the motions, but he/she is NOT a disciple of Christ.
'nuff said.
