God the Father could make a rock so big that God the Son (Jesus) could not move it without the empowering of God the Holy Spirit.

Ever wonder if the reason God is a Trinity is just so we can answer this question every time somebody brings it up?

I'm a bit dubious about the phrase 'most omnipotent', surely that is an excess of superlatives?

Anyway, look here for a better answer than I could write: http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Aoh2h7E_UDrK9udjs0JpTr4gBgx.?qid=1006033021280

... in short, if you take God as our creator then you accept that he created our thoughts and logic, yes?
If he created our thoughts and logic then he must exist outside of them, right?
If he does, then it follows that he could have different 'rules' of logic and possibility that we cannot understand... if so then he could probably do this.

If you don't understand or agree with this then just think if it this way: the fault doesn't lie with God, it lies with our understanding of him.

Why would God want to do something that stupid. this is a childs question. I should know I work with Kids.
Only humans do things that they can't handle. ie: bombs, guns and other stuff like that. Why would God do something that he couldn't control.
By the way though he holds the whole universe in the plam of his hands so it would have to be one heck of a big rock if you think about it.

This is just a question that tries to get people to make a decision one way or the other and then tell them that if thats true then God is not all powerful/all knowing, questions like this are retarded

I think I've answered this question 7 times this week ;)

Anyway my answer remains, God is capable of anything He wants to do, even to lower Himself. He can create something (someone) bigger than Him, if He chose to be beneath something (someone) so yes indeed He could.

That is like a sentence with a double negative - and a very childish and well worn question. However if that is the best you can do here is your answer.

Yes, and then when he felt like moving it he could so yes.
