Wrap the corn in aluminum foil with lots of butter, salt & pepper, put on grill with low to medium heat. Rotate every 4 minutes. 15 to 20 minutes you should have some awsome tating corn cobs.
Careful taking cobs off grill, use tongs as the butter will be hot and leaking through the aluminum foil.

if it is fresh (like farm market not grocery store)
pell the husks back but do not rip off
remove the stringy stuff
wrap a rubber bands or string around the husks to make a nice handle for the corn
use the spray non stick stuff designed for grills
on the top rack (if you have one) or the lower rack on low heat
place the corn 1 minute on each side with the husks facing well away from the heat
get a tall glass and fill it with melted butter - when you take it off the grill dip it in the butter & serve - eat by holding the husk!!!

Foil and butter is fine but there is another way that is tasty and helthier too:
Rub the raw corn with lime juice (cut a lime and rub it right on there) then put your corn right on the grill with no foil or husk.
Don't let it sit on one side for longer than 30-60 seconds depending on how hot your fire is. Turn it often.
Some parts will singe a little this way but it isn't really burnt . If you like it a little burnt just keep turning it but leave it on the fire a little longer.
Rub it with lime again before you eat it and maybe add a little salt.
It may sound strange but it is delicious.

Pull back husk just far enough to remove silk (about 1/3 of the way). Remove silk and re-cover the cob with the husks. Throw on the grill and rotate every 3 minutes or so. After about 15 minutes, remove from grill and pull off husks (use gloves! they are hot!). Smear with plenty of butter and salt....enjoy!!!! Using this method gives you a more intense corn taste.

2 Ways:
1. Peel back the leaves and tear out the silk. Rub the corn w/ butter and seasoning. Put the ears on the grill..off toward the side. Test corn..usually 15/30 mintues is enough depending on where on the grill you have it.
2. Throw away ears and silk. Butter and season corn and wrap in alum. foil. Grill..test.
VERY yummy.

Pull back the husks (but DON'T pull them off), remove all of the silk inside and clean the corn in water, spread a little butter on the corn (optional) and pull the husks back up so they completely cover it again. Then throw it on the grill and cook 'til the corn is tender and ready to eat (you can peel back a corner to test)...enjoy!! It's the BEST corn you'll ever have!!

Butter, salt, pepper, corn on the cob, tin foil
Melt butter in dish, brush onto corn, lightly dust with salt and pepper, wrap individually in tin foil. Place on upper level of grill. Rotate every 5 minutes, cook for 20 minutes or until done, depending on the heat of your grill.

Leave it in the husks and soak them in water for at least 30 mins. first. Then wrap each one in foil and grill for 20 mins. turning them every so often. They are delicious that way!! Then when it's time to eat them just pull back the husks and believe it or not, the silks slide right off really easy and you can use the peeled back husks as a handle to hold your corn.
