Instead of building a wall across the boarder, can the immigration problem be solved through deplamacy, understanding, compansion and about 5000 sighns that read " Tresspassers will be shot on sight." ?

I LIVE in Texas. We've already tried that. We've been doing that since before I was born.

It just isn't working.
I feel sorry for the hispanics that want to live in our country and I'm even flattered by it. But it has just gotten completely out of hand.

They are taking away our jobs here. They're willing to work for WAY below minimum wage, nudging out the americans that need the money to survive themselves.

Since they'e illegal aliens, the companies don't report the hispanic employees. The employers LOVE it. They don't have to pay taxes on them.

It's all under the table.

The homeless rate of Americans here has risen due to the huge ammount of illegal immigrants.

It's a really sad situation.

We don't want to be mean but we have to do SOMETHING.

It has gotten really out of hand.

It's a shame but I've got to say...A wall is our only possible solution right now, until we can think of something more Mexican friendly.

1) Dig a trench
2) Put alligators in it
3) Make 50,000 signs that, in Spanish, say: "Turn around now, or you run a 99.9999% risk of getting shot or becoming a slave. And the alligators may eat you, too."
4) Throw all the illegal immigrants into Mexico.

I say either:
a. Build an extremely tall wall about half a mile inland where soldiers and armed border patrol people can walk on top of and shoot anyone that tries to pass. More soldiers would also be patroling on the ground.
or
b. Build an extremely tall electric fence that would kill anyone who touches it. Also have armed soldiers stationed by the doors that let people through and let them check the cargo. If anyone gets pass somehow, just blow their brains out. ;)

Someone sent me an e-mail that said we should dig a huge trench along the border (use the dirt to build up New Orleans) and then fill it with alligators (to control the alligator problem). Sounded like a good idea to me!

That will be a great idea. Also add "Tresapassers will be turn into a slave" That way american can own a slave to do all dirty works. Make them sleep in a shed and lock them in it when you don't need them. No need for air conditioner, decent foods, or anything! Just a simple shed that will prevent them from run away will do the job.

No, cause that is only about 2-3 signs per mile, we'd need them every 20 feet and printed in Spanish, not English.

not a very humane answer to the problem. here's a note for you, most people that own property on the border already have signs that say just that. my grandmother's brother had an illegal alien on his property that was shot and killed by a neighbor apparently.

to really get at the problem, the jobs on the U.S. side need to stop. as long as there are people out there that are willing to pay an illegal alien illegally, they will not stop coming.

The sign should read: If you must come across the border illegally then you must suffer the risk of being shot. We have earned the right to live here and we didn't do it illegal cause we were born AMERICANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
