Its been quietly going on for some time. The recent furor over legal same sex marriages has just put it in the public eye. Lesbian priests, gay marriage, and western civilization hasn't fallen.

I totally disagree . When a church knowingly, ordains a gay priest or performs a gay marriage they are making the statement that homosexuality is OK by them. The Bible says it is an abomination to God. But remember. although homosexuality is a sin, God forgives sin.

I support it. Gay pastor and priests have always existed exist they just could not live open and free. Freedom is a promised gift of God.

Jonathan and David had a holy union committing themselves to each other infront of God and the world so there is biblical presidence. (no, I am not claimming a physical relationship between them. But to be honest we do not know for sure.)

And as long as they are willing to shred various texts at random based upon nothing but contemporary herd mentality, then why not throw the whole Christianity thing out the window and just become a psychology clinic.

Personaly, I would rather attend a different church. That sort of lifestyle doesn't fit who I am. I think what is important in a church is that they teach the word of God and people come to know Christ as their savior. I don't agree with people who practice homosexual behavior but I believe there are much larger concerns to focus on in today's churches.

Funny, I was under the impression that Roman Catholics have been enforcing this practice (ordaining gay priests) for centuries.

What do you expect-Look at who is doing that. Only churches that the majority of congregants do not believe in the Bible. Check me out on that. That can only happen in an apostate church.

I think live and let live. Who are we to say what is right or wrong just because it may not be a choice we would make for ourselves. Its really no ones business what someone else is doing.

1 Corinthians 6
9Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders 10nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Sexual Immorality
12"Everything is permissible for me"—but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible for me"—but I will not be mastered by anything. 13"Food for the stomach and the stomach for food"—but God will destroy them both. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. 14By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also. 15Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never! 16Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, "The two will become one flesh."[b] 17But he who unites himself with the Lord is one with him in spirit.
18Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. 19Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.
