It could be reddish, or coppery blonde, or auburn-red, or chestnut, or brandy, or golden brown, or cinnamon, or maple, or strawberry blonde. Or a hundred colors in between.
Colors range from dark to light on a scale of 1-12. Tones, or undertones, are like the colors in the color wheel that you probably learned in gradeschool, based upon the colors you find in a rainbow.
Sandy tones are more golden hued, and dirty blonde tones are more ashen hued.
It could be a neutral color that is balanced between cool and warm tones, or it could lean a little towards the warm tones more.
All these shades mentioned above work well for pale to medium skin tones, and work well to cover gray hair when neutral tones are prominent.

If it is between blonde and brunett, it probably has natural highlights. In the summer, the sun lightens your hair so it is probably blonder then. I think your hair is like dirty blonde. When trying hot summer products for your hair use John Frieda Beach Blonde because You do not necceceraly have 2 b blonde 2 use it, it just gives you the tousled, surf-girl texture.

some of those products tell you for what shade of blond or brunette. i have the same problem, my hair is in between blond and brown, i use the formulas for light brown b/c that's what i wanted my hair to be. but if you want to be blond, use the products for the darker shades of blond.

Some would call it a dirty blonde, and some would call it dishwater blonde. It really depends on who you talk to. Some would also say that its a sandy blonde too. I myself just call it brown/ blonde.

I'm not a very big help in this...
I'm naturally blonde and wouldn't color my hair in any other color even if I had grey strands in it.

i'm the same, i have half brown half blonde. but if you want to bring out more blonde in you, then use shampoo for blonde hair. but if you want to bring out the brown, then use brown hair shampoo. i use sheer blonde shampoo, and it has made me much more blonde, and gave me a more distinguished hair color
