1. Find a good church in your area, one with a good Sunday School and/or Children's Church program.
2. Bible story books and children's Bibles are helpful. Christian bookstores often have a wealth of good materials for teaching children about Christianity.
3. Start with the basics...how to treat others, difference between right and wrong, etc. Use day-to-day experiences to teach your child.
4. Living your life in the way you want your child to live his/her life is probably the best way to teach your child about Christian beliefs. Children follow the example of the people closest to them.

Take your child to church every time the door is open. Talk openly about God and Jesus around them. Talk about heaven and hell. Right and wrong. About the man called Jesus that died on the cross just for them. Learn the King James Bible. In other versions of the bible over 60,000 words have been taken out and the meanings changed. If you want to teach the the true Christianity, get the right bible. You can get some information on Bible Probe.com.

Get a kids Bible and explain easy verses and explain who Jesus is and how God sent him to the earth. Pick out certain verses in the Bible that you think he'll understand that teach him about doing good and being Christ-like. You should also put him in a sunday school class on Sundays and Wednesdays. Make sure you like the church first and make sure it is the one God wants you to go to. Just pray too and God will tell you how to teach your child.

Lead by example. It's hard for a small child to fully understand the idea of religion or beliefs, but being a good person is easy to show them. Mention God in everyday conversation, and he/she will get used to hearing about it, and eventually understand.

Decide which denomination you wish to follow and take them to church would be the simplest way. If the denomination doesn't matter so much, just the basis of Christian beliefs, find a church that has a large children's group. That way your child can interact with other children the same age.

You could teach them the same way relgion has been spread throughout the ages. With a whip, chain and swords. A belt would probably do nicely as an alternative.

Are you saying that you want to force him to believe these things like many christians do? Or do you want to teach him about them and then allow him to decide what to believe on his own? Either way, start taking him to church and read him religious books at home.

Make the bible come alive by acting out the stories and/or making crafts together that represent what was done in the story. Relate the scripture back to your child by asking things like this:
Do you see how Jonah didn't want to obey God so much that he ran away from God? Do you also see how you didn't want to obey me so much that you pretended like you didn't hear what I asked you to do?
Tell you child when you make mistakes and then point it back to the bible to show that you also use the bible to get to know God.

Find a good family church. Most of the time, they will have Bible Study or Sunday School classes for children of different age groups. The really good classes actually provide learning materials (books) for the students.

Go to a bookstore and get a kids Bible that is age appropriate. Christian bookstores have the best selection, but any bookstore will do. Take them to a non-denominational church that teaches the Bible verse by verse (NOT topical messages).
