Its Okay you both can get great laughs out of it just think of it like this :
It Breaks The Ice [ meaning gives good conversation ].
If you become a couple spaghetti will be a main dish if you like Italian Food, plus after you get through eating you both can wipe each others face . Cozy fun with smiles:~)
Make it more fun feed each other it will be the date you'll always remember and that's what dates are for. Good memory's.

It's hard to look graceful with food all over you. I'd stick with something safer for that first date meal. But hey! It worked for Lady and the Tramp, so who's to say?
