That's a really blind opinion. The best way to describe this eternal burning question is to simply sit back and re-evaluate the situation at hand. Most of us go on living like there is no tomorrow and vicea versa.True. But take the time to realize the obvious. That God is us! We are our own angels, demons, and ghosts. But we leave out the biggest thing in our life, THE FOCUS OF IMPERMANENCE. We all know what this is. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING comes and goes but most of us just take this for granted live our lives and create all sorts of problems. Don't go with the "flow" instead watch it "flow" away and then you will see the true meaning of God. Your actions even ones that are "hard" to explain are created by you in this life and in the last as well and are not dictated by God or some Mysterious force. In other words you plant the seeds, they grow, and you reap the fruit bad or good. So in short Actions are your God. And those Actions come from you. So no I believe in myself.

That is the old and worn out Pascals gambit (aka Pascals wager).
It is wrong for the following reasons;
What if the actual god(s) that exists are not the god(s) you are worshiping? You will certainly be sent to hell for following a false religion.
What if no god(s) exist, and your religion requires you to follow certain standards while you are alive (which all do)? You will then have wasted your only chance at existence, and your only chance at experiencing life because of a false fear of retribution after death.
In both cases being an atheist is the better bet. One, you won't piss off the real god by following a potentialy false god. This doesn't mean you avoid hell, but it might mean less of a punishment depending on the real religion.
Two, you get to live a happy and full life, not depriving yourself or others of lifes wonders and pleasures.

I personally choose to believe in the Goddess, and I would sort of disagree with the question. Who is to say for certain that if you don't believe in God and die that you are doomed to hell. What if you simply die and nothing good or bad happens? Or what if you die and are reincarnated into something? We won't know for sure until we die, and by then it is too late. It is more important to live your life the way you want to, treat people with respect, and try your best to be a good person.

God is more real than life itself, he is the creator of all things, he sent his son to prove it. When Christ rose from the dead he proved that he had the power to lay down his life for our sins and take it back up. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son and anyone anyone that believes will not perish but will have everlasting life. First you need to secure your eternal security by placeing your faith in Jesus Christ, then you will be saved from Hell and will go to Heavan when you die. Once you are saved your saved forever, your stuck you have to go to Heaven wether you like it or not you can not loose your salvation, see 1st john 5:37 and 5:39 What you do after you secure your eternal position in Heaven will determin weather you will get rewards. First get saved, then do good works not for salvation but for rewards that Christ wants to share with you when he meets you face to face. PS. you need to make this decision before you die or it will be too late then your fate will be Hell

It's silly to do that. If there is a God, he would see through that scam in a second.
Live like a human being for the sake of living like a human being, not because of some promise for a pleasant afterlife.

Yes, I do beileve in G*d, though not because I am afraid of getting punished for not believing. I am not motivated by the threat of damnation, but by the desire to live a good life. Part of that feel-good feeling comes from a love I have for my creator. I don't know if my creator is either aware or cares one way or the other how I feel, but that doesn't change how I live, and what I believe.

No, and no, you are not right. Using that logic, why aren't you a hindu? Or why don't you believe in Zeus? Odin?
What you are saying is basically, "do this or else something bad will happen to you." You are trying to threaten people to believe in your God, well maybe fear isn't something we want to base our religious beliefs on.

why do people die and suffer every day? if there is a god then he is drestroying us little by little. who knows? maybe god will come one day in the form of destruction. tsunami/ mother nature is god i think. that is the trillion dollar question. the only person that can answer that is the person within us. if you belive in god and you have sined. this question was driven by fear. because u have sined before and your god within is making you question you religious belief.

God gave us all free will. I choose God. I feel that he has placed favor on me, because I choose to love and follow Him. I am sure there is a God. I would not be here without Him. Praise Jesus.
