They will give you a anti-depressant, that works with anxiety and OCD behavior. Therapy will help too.

Well this is going to ruin this for you sorry. but i am a hypochondriac also. I always think I am sick and always think im going to throw up and i have a disorder where i am afraid to throw up. but anyway the psycologist perscribed me pills so i thought it was healing me but later on my mom told me i was fine all along and the pill just made me think i was getting better. So whenever i feel sick and i start nto think about it alot i take a pill and it makes me believe im getting cured !

Your not a hypochondriac...your a hyper-anxiety sufferer.

It really could also be a situational anxiety syndrome, if you think about it. A psychiatrist and many times a psychologist can help you through those issues with biofeedback, relaxation techniques, etc. Best wishes =)

It is not a medical problem, it is a psychological problem. I recommend yoga and therapy. Yoga will really help the most. PUt you in touch with what you really feel in your body.
Help you get over the fear of dying.

It's a form of anxiety disorder. You need to have your doctor refer you to a psychiatrist.

Oxazepam, you don't mind maybe dying enough to worry, at least some of the time like when you can't sleep.

You don' t need a Medical Doc (MD) you need to go to a therapist, or something of the sort to talk about it.
