I often wonder that myself.
what you see a lot of is "cafeteria Christianity" people who pick and choose what they believe out of convenience.

The Bible is very important, but it's teachings are not necessarily Crystal clear from the beginning. Not that it contains esoteric and hidden mysteries, but rather it should be read and pondered over at length over the ling haul of life, with continuous adjustments being made as one matures in their Christianity.
Two things that cause many people to have problems: One is that it needs to be read from the point of view of one with a clean and open heart. Too many people, religious and secular, already have the answer that they want, and go looking to the Bible to validate their own prejudices. Also, different books require a different perspective. You don't read the front page of a newspaper the same way you read the sports page. IE: Israeli's BOMB Palestinians is taken literal, but Patriot's BOMB NY Jets is not, etc.

Very good question!....you're right, believers are suppose to be on one accord and believing the same way in the Lord because they all have the same Word & Spirit of God!.....unfortunately there's either different levels of christianity....grow from baby christian to mature adult christian!....or the other reason would be Opinions, Veiws, Phylosophies, etc. etc. that takes away the spirituallity of God's Word!.....These are the two major problems!....Read (1 Cor. 3:1-23) In this chapter you will see where Paul teaches on this!........And then you've got the Pretenders, Hypocrites to put up with, who pretends to be a christian!......Sad to say, these are the three major problems concerning chritianity has to face daily!.....

Yes, you are absolutely right and make perfect sense.
Unfortunately religion is not about making sense, it's based on faith and faith is the belief in something you have no real proof for. As a matter of fact the Bible itself states that in Hebrews.
I used to be a christian for decades and asked your very question to myself and others over and over again and could never come up with an acceptable answer.
Unless man wrote the book. Then it all makes sense.

It's true. People make up their own answers when they should be going to the bible instead. Everyone does this ALL the time. When we need to take an exam we instead go to the Cliff notes instead of reading the actual novel. Or if we need to get our license we study the ans. sheet instead of reading the driver's manual. If people would invest in reading the Manual (The Bible) and then putting what it says into practice, then things would be more crystal clear.

Because, Christians have different point of view.. based on what their priest thought!!
as for examples, when u asked is Allah Christians God? u will see some said yes, somesaid no and some said perhaps..
when u asked whould Old testament be followed by Christians..
some said no, some said yes and some said perhaps too..
which one is the truth?
Thats the problems when HUMAN WAS THE ONE WHO HAS MADE THEIR OWN TRANSLATION AND THEIR OWN IDEOLOGY BASED ON VARIOUS SOURCES OF BIBLE..
my advice is.. try to find otu the history of Bible!! u will be surprised and will find the answer to ur questions.

He is that important but, His teachings are not that crystal clear.
God's teaches a little wiht the written wors and a lot in the spaces between the letters.
What you see and hear depends both on your relation to the ideas and you base of experience.
It is the fun of life.....ever seek it's meaning

Perhaps the person who taught them had the wrong answers. You would be surprised how many people don't read their bibles. But knowing your bible isn't the whole answer. It's knowing the God who wrote it. As humans we are susceptible to error, there fore it's important to hear from the Holy Spirit when learning the word so we interpret it God's way, not ours.

It depends on the question. Sometimes the question will lend itself to similar (or even identical answers), while other questions will yield a broader range of answers.
Contrary to popular belief, Christians are not mindless drones who give the same stock answers to questions about our faith. We are, again contrary to popular belief, independent thinkers.

give an example plz? there is a lot of different denominations. but there is only one faith in heaven. so i Agree with you to a point, but any faith is better than No faith at all. this might even offend some ppl, but i think some muslims will be in heaven, and some buddhists, and some indians. if they have absolute faith in a higher being and try to live to the best of their knowledge, then i think God will save them too. any faith is better than no faith

Christians all belong to different faiths. Therefore, they interpret things differently.
