I know I am correct about there being no god. If he did exist, he would have saved you from writing so poorly. The only hope for you is grammar/spelling school. You may need help reading too. The directions say to ask a question, not make poorly written childish comments.

So, what is your question? Are you asking if Pascal's Wager is valid?

The answer is no. This question is not valid.

If you can apply this to the Christian god, then you can apply to the other religions, as well. If you believe in Allah, then you can be saved if he exists. If he doesn't exist, then oh well. And so on.

More reasonably, your belief won't affect your afterlife.
If God is loving, then he would not send you to Hell simply for using the gifts he gave you (critical thinking). On the other hand, if God is capricious enough to create a Hell just for nonbelievers, then he is a cruel god. There is no guarantee that someone of such cruelty would even allow you into Heaven if you do believe in him.

To be honest, I think you should focus more on spelling and grammar than philosophy. Philosophy won't keep you from working in fast food. Good writing skills can.

ok, I think what you're trying to say is you'd rather believe in a God and find out He isn't, than not believe and find out He is.

I also had this belief for awhile. I don't hold it true anymore because my desire for truth is more important than the comfort of believing in a god. If it turns out there is a god, and he sends me to hell with not believing as my only sin, how is that fair? I'm a good person. I just see no reason to believe and instead follow my own morals.

Pascal's wager. It's BS. It makes people into hypocrites, not believers. Besides, by knowing that god does not exist I get a whole lot more satisfaction out of this life, the only life there is. By the way, Pascal would pimp slap you for this.

I just changed the name of the deity.

if u believ in (tooth-fairy) and if (she's) real, u can be saved. if (she) isn't, o wel. if u don't believ u (don't get any money under your pillow).

if you believe in God and you reason for believing in God is "just to be on the safe side" then that is one reason I have absolutely no respect for....why would you believe in something just to be on the safe side?? if God was real, don't you think God can see through that?

i say that is God's choice if you go to heaven. I believe the same though, if you don't believe in God (pray to him) then you might not be on the right path, but I don't think it's your choice to say who goes to heaven and who goes to hell.
