Iraq faces a complex process in the next ten years. If the government of Iraq does not gain self dependence, the country of Iraq will likely fracture into 3 major parts made up of Kurds, Sunnis, and shiites. As Benjamin Franklin said "Democracy is two wolves and a sheep deciding what to have for dinner, liberty is the sheep disputing the vote." The sunni people are not going to be sheep and eaten with out a fight. The sunni people were put in control of Iraq by England in order to control the larger Shiite population. They have controlled the Iraq country for 100 plus years and are not about to sacerfice wealth and control to the previously governed Shiites. The Sunnis are located in resource and oil poor areas and are fighting strongly to retain power. Of course fighting the ocupation force is just part of the job.

NITWITS! They are the only people who could make us lose. Those without faith in democracy or our Military. The insurgents will never completely go away but they are weaker & will continue to get weaker as democracy works. The Iraqi Military & Police are getting stronger & more able to control the insurgents. Ths US will come home with a mission accomplished. Some people are an embarrassment to freedom.

A government has been established in Iraq already. It is taking some time to build it to a strength that they can protect themselves. They are all ready looking to work for peaceful solution in Iraq amongst themselves. That is what you do in a free society. So the new recently voted on Iraqi government and the Coalition have already won. Better go and brush your teeth, your feathers are showing.

If the Iraqis or any other nation invaded the US, would WE ever quit resisting?
Ever see the movie RED DAWN?
I would spend the rest of my life plotting and planning how to kick them out, and raise my children to do the same.

yeah i agree with you. there is no one to blame for american bloodshed other than the leaders of this country. if it were iraqis invading america i can say that i would fight for my life. anywhere from 100.000 to 350,000 iraqi lives have been lost, many of them civilian. if my family was killed by people who had no right to be in my country i would fight against them.
you are not a traitor for asking this question. anyone who says otherwise is ignorant. dissent of your government is the highest possible form of patriotism. thomas jefferson said so. especially when our government is lieing and using our country to their advantage.
im glad you asked this.

Heh.
Get the dvd of "Team America: Freedom Fighters" from your library, or borrow it via Netflix. It's by Matt Stone and Trey Parker, they are the guys that did Southpark on tv.
