I doubt they are ugly,, maybe insecure,, maybe wanting to be sure no neighbors or spouses or friends find out the identity.
Maybe some are butt ugly.
I am 50 and ugly doesn't bug me anymore,, I just put me up and figure they can change 360 pages if they don't want to look at me.

May not have access to a digi-cam. I don't have a 360 page, but I wouldn't date somebody without a pic! Because that's the only reason you would care about a pic...if you're trying to hook up!!

I don't think so. Maybe they try to protect themselves. When I posted a picture of myself I got a bunch of nasty notes asking for cybersex. I don't need this kind of attention.
Would be better if they posted fake pictures of supermodels or actors? I'd prefer someone without a picture to someone who tries to rip me off with an Ashton Kutcher wallpaper.
