This was actually submitted by my 11yr old daughter whom is saving her $$ for a dog. The money that she does have she worked hard for, which is something that I have noticed a lot of kids know nothing about these days. She happens to be quite responsible especially for her age. Some folks answers were not quite so polite, but now everyone knows they are speaking to a sweet little girl.

If you can only afford to spend $30.00 on the dog there would be no way your could afford to give it proper food and vet care.
Just to spay or neuter the dog and have all its shots is more in the area of around $200 or more depending on where you live.
Dog food can be more that $30 per bag. I feed a very high quality diet and it is more than that. Try about $2.00 per pound.
If you can not afford the care for the dog you need to wait until you can.

If you can't afford more than $30 for a dog, then you shouldn't get a dog. Do you know they need shots, flea medication, food, pet license, toys etc? The shots and flea medication alone will run about $100 EACH per year and it's not right for the dog to go without all the necessities.

Get some fish!

That's not a question and you won't find that breed of dog for that price. If you purchase from a reputable breeder it will cost you about $1000 and from a pet store about $750. You might be able to adopt one from an animal shelter for around $100. Try the website www.petfinder.com .

My first thought was...dream on! But,some reputable breeder *might* have a retired dog/***** or be amenable to a co-own w/a Junior-TO SHOW in Junior showmanship> PUT ON CONTRACT *DO* all the way.

BUT....Lhasa are NOTORIOUS for being...uh...*less* than nice wittle doggies. Research another breed.....PLEASE!!
