I love fried squash and squash casserole, but lots of people who haven't even tried it sound grossed out.

I love it - especially white (sometimes called umbrella or knuckle) squash. Really good w/ a little mustard on the side for dipping. My brother wouldn't eat fried yellow squash when he was little until my grandmother told him they were squash cookies!

I love squash just about any way you can fix it....but fried is my fav!

fried squash is very very tasty... fried green tomatoes are very tasty, Boiled squash then drained with cheese is very tasty,, I'm definitely a country girl...
