Why does it seem that the more you try on a relationship, the worse?

Amen to that man, i'v ebeen with this girl for 5 years, and things just keep gettin gharder and harder.. all was well until about 7 months ago.. and now **** is just goin gdown hill more and more every day no matter what the both of us seem to try.

Yeah, sometimes you just have to step back and take a breather. Because the harder you try the worse it gets because your getting more desperate and upset.
