Good question!

First of all, they didn't have any children until they were expelled from the Garden.

It would SEEM that the brothers and sisters would have to marry each other (ick), since the Bible says this is the only family on Earth.

Of course, when Cain murdered Abel, the Bible also says that he went off to live with people in the land of Nod . . . so where did those people come from?!?!

What? The Bible internally inconsistent?!?!? Shocking!!!

Adam and Eve only had no children in the Garden of Eden. Remember they were kicked out while childless for eating of the forbidden fruit.

It wasn't till after they were kicked out did they have children. And there has been some discussion as to how many they had and if they were the first parents where did they find mates for thier children. The bible only specifies that they had 3 and all of the were boys. Cain, Able and Seth.

In the fairytale story of Adam and Eve The Bible does not give us a specific number. Adam and Eve had Cain (Genesis 4:1), Abel (Genesis 4:2), Seth (Genesis 4:25), and many other sons and daughters (Genesis 5:4). Since in most of those Old Testament fairy tales all of the people lived hundreds of years - so it is likely they also had hundreds of years of child-bearing capability, Adam and Eve likely had 50+ children in their lifetime. Logic would dictate the children had to marry each other because their would not have been any other people around.

Adam and Eve didn't have any kids in the Garden of Eden. They could have had sex but God did not bless them with children, through the sex that they had in the garden. But after they were banished from the Garden of Eden they had two sons Cain and Abel,at first. Later in the story they also had another son Seth that replaced Abel who was killed by his brother Cain. The Bible does not mention any daughters but in order for Cain to have a wife he had to marry one of his sisters. Back then it was ok to marry your sibling because their genetic line was pure. The Bible does not say how children after Cain, Abel, and Seth, Adam and Eve had.

Adam and Eve didn't have any children while they were in the Garden of Eden. They were expelled before they could have any children.

But yes - their children had to marry each other. And if you think that brothers and sisters marrying produce deformed children, and we are their offspring, then consider what Adam and Eve must have been like, if what we consider as "normal", would be considered deformed by them!

no longer a truthful assessment. in case you replace the Utopian international of A&E to greater wholesome immediately's circumstances, you need to think of a international without ailment, the place no one is hungry, suffering or homeless. think of if God extremely looked, granted all this or maybe presented each and every guy or woman or relatives a unfastened homestead that fee no longer something to maintain. What could ensue? approximately 10 minutes after God replaced into completed, somebody could say, "howdy, how come that guy have been given the homestead with the extremely reliable view", human beings could start up struggling with, killing one yet another and complaining that God did no longer care. So i assume a truthful assessment of God to human beings could be if the mummy and dad did each and every thing interior of their ability to maintain bleach from the baby however the baby breaks into the buddies homestead, steals an ax, and then spends an hour smashing open the cupboard the place the bleach is locked so he can drink it.

After they were expelled from the garden , they could easily have had 300 kids, if they only had one every two years. Their younger kids could have married their grandkids. Of course the children had to marry each other at first. The gene pool was much stronger than it is now.

The Bible says 'many other sons and daughters', just exactly how many that means no one knows. They probably had children for 600 years, and could have had multiple births. No one knows. Did they marry each other- it is assumed that they did. There was no such thing as incest then and the gene pool was clean. No one knows.
