In the Gospel according to Mark 13:32 "But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, NEITHER THE SON, but the Father". (Mark 13:32)
God knew the time of the day of judgment, this was something that even Jesus did not know. This shows that by God knowing something that Jesus didn't, they did not share the same intellect. The knowledge of the unseen is divine qualities, and the one who does not know the unseen, obviously cannot be divine. Jesus was explicitly saying I do not know everything, only the creator knows. Furthermore, if someone thinks that Jesus the man did not know, then he is missing a point that according to Christians, Jesus was 100% man and 100% God in one body. It means, he possess the same intellect of God and Man. If he had the same intellect then he should have same knowledge. But we don’t find this in harmony with mark 13:32. Therefore, Jesus is not God.

miracles does not prove that Jesus is God. Muslims too believe that Jesus did miracles by the permission of God. In bible, Ezekiel, Elisha, Joshoa , did many miracles, but that does not prove that they all are God. Hope this answers

You pose a good question. I hope you keep searching for him It sounds like he's revealing himself to you. This is what I know about the trinity. The word trinity is not used in the bible `though the idea represented by the word is taught in many places.God eternally exists as three persons,Father,Son,and Holy Spirit, and each person is fully God,and there is one God.Here's a few verses Matt3;16-17,Matt28:19 .The very names Father and Son ,drawn as they are from the family, the most familiar of human institutions. When the Holy Spirit is put in the same expression and on the same level as the other two persons,it is hard to avoid the conclusion that the Holy Spirit is also viewed as a person and of equal standing with the Father and son.One example of this is Matt 28:19,John1:1-4,Hebrews1:3.The trinity is by far one of the hardest things of God to understand-you are not alone. The differences lay in thier different functions and primary activities in relating to the world and to each other for all eternity. So maybe in Mark 13:32 it wasn't the function or activity of the Son to know the time.Blessings VIJ

First of I do believe the trinity are three seperate omnipotent beings that make one God, not Gods. Jesus doesnt know when the tribulation period will start cause He doesnt know when the rapture will take place. Its all set in hebrew traditions. The Father and sometimes the servant, would go pick the bride for the son. After the wedding and everything else with it is planned and complete, the father would tell his son to go get your bride and bring her for the wedding, just like we see with abraham and Issac and abrahams' servants' name means Holy Spirit, its a pretty cool read. Jesus dont know when these things are going to take place cause the marriage supper and the bride isnt ready yet. But when it is the Father will then tell His son to go get your bride and that will be the rapture. Also Christ did create everything and you can read this in the Gospel of John 1:1-3, Christ is the Word and He was just as much God as He was Man, cause without 100% of either one His sacrifice would be in vain.

You are correct to say that God is "All Knowing" but He is also "Omnipresent", in all places at all times. If the Holy Trinity were three identical parts of God, there would be no point to the Trinty. But the fact is that they are not identical. God, through His Son Jesus Christ, limited His ability to be omnipresent by taking on the form of man (who is not omnipresent). Whilst Jesus occupied a physical body, He was necessarily limited by His physical self. It is not unreasonable to conclude also that Jesus had other such limitations whilst He was yet to be Glorified and seated at the right hand of the Father.

This the great mystery and beauty of the God we believers serve, He can not fit into any box we can make for Him. But we do get to love a tri-union God with three complementry personalities each of whom seeks to love us more than we can know.

the Holy Spirit was not yet sent. Jesus being God incarnate was also flesh. He had to submit His flesh to the will of the father. God in the flesh Himself was tempted by the devil.
Mathew 4:7Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
While He was flesh, He must have had some of the same physical limitations we face. Jesus arose from the dead and now sits at the right hand of the Father interceding for us. After He left the earth, He sent His Holy Spirit which has no fleshly temptations or limits.
Pray to Jesus for guidance. Ask Him if He is God. He will reveal Himself to u.

Why do you put God in a box?

Jesus had to live as a man does. He had the Spirit without measure. To have the Spirit without measure, makes Him God. God is able to split Himself up and remain One. Like a finger off the hand, yet alive in itself...was Jesus. That is why Jesus said that the Father gave Him life in Himself, even as the Father already had life in Himself. Like a finger leaving the hand, yet remaining alive, and part of the hand, though separated from the hand. This is why Jesus called God Father. Jesus came forth from that part called God, making the remaining part Father, and Jesus the Son.

The point is, because Jesus had to live as a man, and die on a tree...the Spirit reveled to Him only what suited His mission.

Jesus is God.

You're thinking in terms of human limits. God is all powerful. He can choose to withhold knowledge of certain things from the other parts of the Trinity if He wants.

And yes, Jesus is God: John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word *was* God.

Excellent question - and of course the folks that are blinded by the trinity and the because I told you so will most likely NOT get involved in this thread -

Let's look at 3 separate areas here:

The creator God

The only begotten Jesus

The holy spirit - the force God uses to get things accomplished.

Good thing that you don't have a blind faith. Paul told Christians to test everything with God's word. When it comes to the Trinity, the Bible is not specific and it only says us to believe that Jesus is the son of God. God only require us to have that simple faith to accept Jesus as the messiah. Don't go too much into theology but stick with the basic faith to please God. Hope this helps!

Good question.

Consider this - Jesus' ignorance of the day or hour of his return must be understood in terms of the NT teaching concerning the Incarnation. A genuine Incarnation involved such lack of knowledge. Jesus purposely laid aside temporarily the exercise of his omniscience as part of what was involved in his becoming a human being.

However, Jesus didn't permanently lay aside his omniscience. Just because he laid it aside temporarily doesn't mean that Jesus was not God.

It's a good question for discussion - thanks for bringing up the key text.

Jesus is Gods son who came to teach us what God wanted us to know, plain and simple, Jesus died in our place on the cross for our sins, so that we may have an eternal life through Jesus. Jesus has arose, which makes Jesus all knowledgeble, as we are still on this earth, for now.
