How can one tell if a psychic/medium is truly gifted and not just trying to make some money by pretending they can 'see' things?

true phychic's are rare and do not operate businesses. they are not advertised, people share their experiences and most importantly they are beyond money, they care less if u can pay or not, they are helpers.

Well, for the ones that work with cops, if the person tells the cops info that the cops did not release to the public yet or new things that turn out to be right, then they must be psychic. I think that they are real.

I started a psychic hot-line, but every-time I hired a psychic, they ended up winning the lottery or hitting it big on the stock market, so I had to shut down.

Walk up to them and slap them in the face. If they are truly psychic they will know its coming and block it. If you land a hit just laugh at them and say should have seen that one coming.

Scorcery is real and the Bible states its from the devil, so I'd beware when using magic, although I do think God sends Angels at times when we are looking for someone missing and things like that, but I would not go messing around.
and alot of times these people are money hungary fakes.

Ask them a simple question like "Where are my white flops with the racing stripes?" (You have no such set of flops) If they consider your question and then get angered by it or react disfavorably... well, try a few other test questions... and MAYBE you'll find you have the real thing... but overwhelming "chances are..."

Well if they can tell you something that happen in your past that no one would know. Like that grandma that got hit by a car. Or your dogs name.
