God is the only..... God is the one....... God made the world the people the ways of life. animals. plants . water. air. and everything...... ok so were do we women fit in???? are we just vessles for men to have their children? As i was tought as a child in the LDS church. Men held the presthood. men had the power to talk to God. we women had babies and thats that. Do we have to humble ourselves before our husbands? are we beneath men? Did we cause all the sin starting with Eve? are we the sinners of sex, the evil ones? is our place here on earth to have babies for the men........ and to replenish our husbands earth in the afterlife. LDS teaches that men will become GODS and women will become the vessel for their earth....(this is how i was raised.... i do not believe it. but if its how i was raised do others really believe this way?) (other than some of my family)

Isaiah's wife was a prophet, the old testament is full of women in positions of authority. The LDS is referencing Paul, who didn't want women to teach, simply because at that time in Israel, Jewish women weren't allowed to learn to read Hebrew, and of course the Torah is in Hebrew, so since they couldn't read Hebrew, they certainly couldn't teach it. Jewish men of that time were very chauvanistic.

We are not simply vessels for childbirth. We are the logic that controls mens testosterone fits. We are the glue that holds this world together.

It sounds to me like the people who taught you take things a little to literally. Most of the teachings of spirit are symbolic. When we are born we manifest as either a male or a female. But within ourselves our souls, we are both, not in the physical sense though. Within us we have both male and female aspects. The male aspect within us is the divine, spirit within. The female aspect within us is the earthly self. Another way to put it is the male aspect is spirit and the female aspect is ego. We should always follow what spirit guides us, that is where many people have gotten confused about the physical man being the head, whereas it actually means the male within each soul should be the head which leads your physical life.

2) the first ruler of the Israelites was a judge named Deborah.

No. "My previously perspectives of the unsoundness of the Christian scheme of salvation and the human foundation of the scriptures are turning out to be clearer and more desirable with advancing age and that i see no reason behind wondering I shall ever change them." - President Abraham Lincoln Lincoln's first regulation better half, John T. Stuart, suggested of him: "He become an avowed and open infidel, and infrequently bordered on atheism. He went added adverse to Christian beliefs and doctrines and concepts than any guy I easily have ever heard." "The Bible isn't my e book and Christianity isn't my faith. i might want to by no skill provide assent to the lengthy complicated statements of Christian dogma." — Abraham Lincoln. "for the time of only about fifteen centuries has the criminal institution of Christianity been on trial. What were its culmination? extra or a lot less all over the place, delight and indolence in the Clergy, lack of understanding and servility in the laity; in both, superstition, bigotry and persecution." - James Madison (Memorial and Remonstrance adverse to religious exams, 1785.) "The civil rights of none will be abridged because of religious conception or worship, nor shall any nationwide faith be known, nor shall the finished and equivalent rights of moral sense be in any way, or on any pretence, infringed.'' - James Madison (unique wording of the first change; Annals of Congress 434 (June 8, 1789).)
