My boyfriend and I agreed on celibacy until marriage. Is this the true meaning of my promise ring?

I believe your promise ring should mean whatever you want it to mean because it is YOUR promise ring. So if you and your guy agreed on celibacy until marriage then that's what it stands for, it's your life and you decide what you want.

Yes and no. Your ring may mean nothing more to him than giving you a gift. Or, it could mean he is serious about a monogomous relationship.
Talk with your boyfriend and ask him what his intentions are...will this lead to an engagement....followed by marriage? Is that something you want or are ready for?
