Now that I'm 30 and I look at all the younger drivers on the road, I think NEVER. You guys should NEVER EVER EVER be allowed to drive. But hey, I was like you once and I grew out of it. I do think when I look back at 16, none of us were responsible enough to operate heavy machinery such as. So I'll go with 18, even though that's not responsible enough either (I sure wasn't even then) but at least you're legally an adult.

It depends on the state. I think the youngest is 16. But some states it is 18. It all depends on if the kid can drive or not. I live in SC and I got my license when I was 15. But they changed the law and moved it up to 16.

Legal age is 16, most allow a temporary permit license at 15.

Most states are talking about moving the age to 18 due to so many crashes from teenagers.
