Hi, I suffer terribly from asthma and allergies, and I found out that poodles work for me. I have had them now for the past 20 yrs., and while you may notice some symptoms at first, they will soon go away. Plus my doc put me on a zyrtec once a day, 10 mg. You will become less and less sensitive to the animal. Hope this works, and try a rescue center for dogs, or the local pound. So many good dogs at these places and no homes for them. Good luck! The worst shedding dog I have seen in 30 years of showing dogs is a labradoodle! A Poodle cross has a 50/50 chance of being 'non-shedding' (they DO actually shed, but it stays in the coat) depending on the coat type. If you want a dog that will not leave hair all over, just get a Poodle, not take a chance that maybe you will get lucky and get one of the 50% of the labradoodles that won't shed!
I have a hairless Crested, doesn't shed at all!

Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers, Poodles, Maltese.
Depends on the size you want. The Wheaten is a 40 pound, friendly, affectionate, fairly intelligent, high energy dog. Poodles come in all sizes from tiny to giant and they are smart and pretty easy to train, Maltese tend to be a bit barky, but they are very friendly and affectionate, and are not a bad choice if you want a small dog. All three are going to require grooming.

What you need is a dog that doesn't shed fur like maybe a chinese chreshire or others. Dont worry go on google search and try to find a right dog, im sure you'll find many different kinds.
Happy searching!

My cousin had to get rid of her daughter's dog (Akita) because of allergies, she was advised to replace with a Yorkshire Terrier. Terrier's hair are suppose to be the closest to that of humans. They have had Tyson for like five years now...NO ALLERGIES!!!!

i've been told that schnauzers are good dogs for allergy sufferers.
it has something to do with the kind of hair the dog has.
