take a glass and add either ginger ale ( the original recipe call for ginger ale) or a lemon lime soft beverage. Add ice and then grenedine. Top with a cherry. This is also called a roy rogers if serving it to a male child. This drink used to be served to children when their parents were having their before dinner drink, it made the children feel special and they got to have a ritual with their parents.

20 cl ginger ale

Go with grenadine (which is a pomegranate syrup) or cherry juice (which is the classic) which come in the jar with the maraschino cherries and sprite. You can also use coke and make it a Roy Rogers.

Sprite and grenadine with a cherry!! If you don't have grenadine, pour some juice from the cherry jar in the sprite! And don't forget the cherry! It's the most important part!!
