My husband and I are planning to adopt a toddler; and wanted to know if it was a good idea to get someone under 3 or just do the infant thing like so many others. But, it's just sad to see toddlers thrown to the side, b/c everyone wants a cute infant.

My parents adopted a 4 year old. It's no problem. She is doing great in school, has had no health problems, fits in wonderfully with our family, and is as happy as can be. I reccomend adopting your child young.
