If it's started all the sudden - you could have a tear in your cornea or a problem with you retina - for which you really do need medical attention.
It is a common phenomenon to see "spots" when you've been looking at bright lights.
There is also a possibility you could be having blood pressure issues.
The truth is, if the doctor is not an option then your options are pretty limited.

I had something similar a year ago. It freaked me out so I went to an eye doctor and had about $1000 worth of tests done (after quoting me on the phone $200). They discovered a condition that is common in men ages 20-30 who are usually type A behavior, you know, go getters, workaholics, high stress men. It is called Central Serous Retinopathy. I am a 56 year old female so I didn't fit the profile, but I had it anyway. He said this condition usually clears up in 3 months time. And it did. $1000 to find out. I wish I would have just sat it out. He did say that these symptoms might be an indication of a tumor on the thyroid. But in that case the patient usually gains a lot of weight very quickly.
So if you haven't put on weight suddenly, I would say to see if it is better in 3 months time, if money is as tight for you as for me.
But I am not a doctor and could be steering you way wrong. Follow your gut.

See if you can get a doctor to look at your eyes. It isn't worth going blind for lack of insurance. Many will work out a payment plan for you or you might also try an organization like the lion's club.
I am not a doctor but I think you should be checked.

What is your take on life? That could be the pivotal understanding here. Higher Evolved Beings see these things and nobody else does. It is not uncommon at all. But you could truly have a medical condition also.

Since you dont have insurance I would try one of the college medical forums. Its free. Should be a bunch of Brainiacs over their who would be eager to give you the info or try and research it for you. I think UCLA has one. But choose the one you feel comfortable
