On the flip side, how would you feel if you were the person getting multiple calls that you were ignoring, and how would you react?

Nope. I leave ONE message, and if he doesn't want to chat, then so be it. I absolutely HATE when people blow up my phone. Just because it's my cellular does not mean: a) that it's always with me, or b) that I HAVE to answer it. I have voice-mail for a reason. Leave a message, chances are the conversation will be better when I call you back, because not only am I doing it because I want to, but I'll have time to focus on the person that I'm speaking with. As for the reasoning behind it, if I'm the one stuck leaving the message, I usually think "Gee, he must be busy, or not feel like talking right now" and my reasons for not answering my own phone are the same. I could be giving my son a bath, out with friends, eating dinner, sleeping, peeing...any number of things really that are not conducive to talking on the telephone.

I would call a couple more times, if still no answer, confront him/ her and be done with them. Its a matter of respect, and by them ignoring your calls, there is no respect shown. A relationship cant survive without respect and trust, and the actions shown by that person says there is none, so I would move on. More fish in the sea.

If he is not answering your calls than obviously he's busy doing something or getting something. Either way I wouldn't keep calling back because you are looking very foolish right now.

If he is travelling i keep calling till he answers coz i get worried if he's safe...otherwise just send a message and call him twice..i know he'll call me back once he's free...

No you are entering stalkation. obviously he is avoiding you. If he doesn't retun one miss call I stop calling and any other form of communication unless he is contacting me.

no quit calling. if he's not answering there's obviosly a reason and he's occupied doing somethin else. ignore his *** and if he really cares he will call you. DON'T CALL, he knows he's got u then
