If you fancy the other guy, go out with him. You are a free agent. If you dont fancy him, then tell the poor sod.
Your ex.. he was cheating on you huh? You know that don't you?
You don't just break off an engagement and get a new girl within a few weeks. Think about it. I wouldn't speak to that lump of poo and I certainly would not worry about his feelings if I wanted to go out with a friend of his. That friend, if he is worth it, will be your best friend soon enough, and not your ex's
A girls gotta do, what a girls gotta do . You go for it!

Why tell the Ex ?it has nothing to do with him especially as he has a new g/f, if your not interested in this guy then you will have to just keep telling him No till he gets the message ,if you are interested then go for it girl ,friend or not your ex will just have to get used to seeing you with a new guy afterall he has a new g/f GOOD LUCK

Don't go out with him to spite your ex! If you like him (even as a friend) why not have a friendly drink somewhere that you can avoid any kissing scenarios until you are sure!

If you want to go out with the guy, I'd say go for it. Your ex seems to have moved on, so its only fair that you do too. If you dont want to go out with the guy you need to come right out and say that he needs to back off. As for telling your ex, thats up to you

Personally, I don't like to travel in the same circles as my ex.
I wouldn't date anyone remotely close to him, ecspecially if he was serious enough to be my fiance.
Then again, you could have a great time, no pressure since you already know him.
It's up to you. I wouldn't tell my ex if I did it though.

Well it deoends on how you feel. If your worried about how he might take it then, tell him you wanna go out for a few dates with his mate and if he's ok with it then do it. If not, I'd stay away. YOU DON'T WANNA COME BETWEEN HIM AND HIS BEST FRIEND
Good Luck Whatever you decide

Do you WANT to go out with him? If not, you probably don't have to worry about it, but you CAN'T go wrong telling him about it. If you do want to go out with him, you should also tell him about it -- not in a "ask for permission" sort of way, but in a "I just want to let you know this is happening ... I realize it's uncomfortable and awkward, but wanted to be upfront." What do you think??
