It seems that guys like women who make it hard and difficult and long for them.. and when she is direct and into him too he runs away the other direction...i see it all the time with my friends.. why can't it just be honest and direct? why do we have to haunt and play games and waste so much time in impressing rather than actually talking n getting to know eachother better? could it be the excitment of this whole dating cat n mouse game? or the thrill they get from haunting the victim or fishing?

You don't have to. Next time you see a cute, single guy you want to go to bed with (and you're carrying condoms, and there's somewhere private nearby), go up to him and tell him so, preferably seductively. Give him a minute or so to pick his jaw up off the ground, but the odds are excellent that he'll say yes (unless he's gay or very religious). It's every guys fantasy, he's not likely to turn it down once he's had a couple of minutes to think about it -- he'd be kicking himself for the rest of his life.
(No, I haven't tried this -- but my wife did when she was a teenager, and it almost always worked for her.)

ok neither sex could play the "jerk recreation"! men who're teases are merely undeniable jerks maximum the time! n women who're teases are many times whores! in case you want a guy then you definately could flow after him n if he teases you want that then he isnt nicely worth some time! same is going for men!!!

I don't like it either. When ever I ask girls out directly it never seems to go well(mostly cuz they have boyfriends).
I think I'm just going to focus on friendships again and not worry about it. But, I've always believed in being open and honest about your feelings.

Uhh I don't know about other guys but hard to get is annoying. If I wanna do other things than talk to you it's because I'm not interested in you. If I was really interested in a girl I'd spend time talking to her.

nobody's saying you have to play hard to get. I think there are plenty of guys that wish girls were more direct and spoke their minds, instead of subtle hints we'd know nothing about.
