My girlfriend dumped me a bit over 2 months ago but calls me constantly- there appears to be no chance of getting back together - yet she is always calling me and telling me how awesome I am...
So, what is she up to? Any ideas?

she is comfortable with you but not in like/love with you...either keep her as a friend or stop speaking to her...also, you may become the occasional booty call, so is up to you how you want to play this

maybe she wants to be just friends, just because you have no chance to get back together (or so you may think), doesn't mean you can't be friends. Were you ever friends before getting together? (Were you drinking buddies who thought you'd give it a try) You have to be friends b-4 you can have a loving relationship. Maybe the relationship will further and grow into something more the more you hang out. So go hang out.

Be out dude she needs to stop trying to get in the way of another woman possibly making you happy. Straight up don't answer the phone all the time when she calls. Don't cut her off but tell her you got a date or something. If she gets jealous than she's just impedeing your progress but if she backs off then you got your space.

She's most likely not "up to" anything. She has found a confidant in you and doesn't want to lose that. It is good when you can be someone's confidant, but to the same extent, if it keeps you from moving on with your life, you should explain that to her and hope she can understand where you're coming from.

well it depends by age if she is under 15 she probally is regretting what she did when she dumped you but over 18 she jus wants to be a good freind.
