Call your doctor or a pharmacist. It could be dangerous please don't drink after taking that medicine untill you know for sure.

Klonipin is a long acting benzodiazapam which means that it could be in your system for up to 12 hours depending on how your body metabolizes the drug. With that being said, I would go slow with the alcohol and see how your body reacts. If you are comfortable with the results continue with caution. Remember it may take less alcohol to get a "buzz".

I have the pamphlet that Par Pharmaceuticals distributes for doctors to read when prescribing clonazepam (the generic name for Klonopin) for their patients. I read it last night. I believe it said the half-life of the drug was in excess of 30 hours, but I couldn't find that sentence again when I skimmed the pamphlet just now. So no, the drug will NOT be out of your system by this evening.

I used to drink wine while taking Klonopin. My doctor told me it was a good way to wake up dead.

If you only have one drink, you should be okay, the problem is that sometimes it weakens the medicine, there are a lot of people that I know that drink, and they are on all kinds of medicine.
Can you order a lite beer?

as someone that takes the same medication i am going to have to say dont do it. it only makes you feel really screwy and further more Kolonipin does not leave your system there is always trace amounts of it in your blood i mean there would be no point for you too take it if it was not going to stay in your system
