Very regularly. My pastor says that people who love the church attend on Sunday mornings, people who love the pastor attend on Sunday nights and people who love God attend on Wednesday nights. Because no where in the Bible does God instruct us to worship in mid week, we do it because we love Him and it re-connects me in a congregational way. But, the truth is, the body of Christ (Christians) are the make up of the church (which is what Christ is returning for) so I'm always in church. However, Hebrews 10:26 says for us not to forsake the gathering together of the saints (that's Christians). That's why we congregate often. Most people attend the church of the Living Room and the Local Lake, but they can't learn there what they can learn in the congregation. Besides, the majority of people say they want to go to Heaven, but my question is, why would you want to spend eternity with a God that you won't spend 1 or 2 hours with on Sunday morning. How do you think our loving Father feels about this? Would you let someone you don't know or who never calls or visits you or shows concern for you, suddenly move in and make themselves at home in your hard earned house? Answer honestly. Probably not.
Be blessed. :)

Every day. It is the fact that we get together in any capacity that the church is made. Church is not an establishment, but merely a body of people who believe in a common capacity. Christians agree that Christ is the head of the church. Whether it be on a Yahoo! group like this or a building or a home. It is the people who make a church what it is.

Yes I do. Because I am the Organist. But that is not only the reason. The actual reason I go to church is for fellowship and find the word of God expounded. I can do that at home, studying the Bible (not reading it), watching TV broadcasts but there is strength in fellowshipping with God's children and moreover, it is commanded in Hebrews 10:24-25. That in these last days, we have to build our fellowships and grow in the knowledge and grace of Jesus. That is the real purpose of going to church.

I stopped going regularly because my beliefs were not aligned with the traditions of my church - but I do believe in a higher power and I feel a comfort in praying each evening.

Yes, I love to go to church and worship the Lord. I learn and grow through the contact with my fellow church members and my pastor is so wise and wonderful. It blesses me every week to attend church.
