Did you know God hates Shrimp?

Shrimp, crab, lobster, clams, mussels, all these are an abomination before the Lord, just as gays are an abomination. Why stop at protesting gay marriage? Bring all of God's law unto the heathens and the sodomites. We call upon all Christians to join the crusade against Long John Silver's and Red Lobster. Yea, even Popeye's shall be cleansed. The name of Bubba shall be anathema. We must stop the unbelievers from destroying the sanctity of our restaurants.

Wow, I wasn't aware of that. What are we going to do if the shrimp, crabs, lobsters, clams and mussels want to get married? There needs to be a constitutional amendment banning crustacean marriage, just in case. We don't want them to threaten the sanctity of other sea creatures' marriages.

LOL....He doesn't hate shrimp - after all, why would he create something that he hates! His whole point was to seperate a nation from all of the other nations, they would be identified by their cleanness, so he told them the foods to avoid. If you notice most of those animals that he told them to avoid were scavengers. (People who have serious food allergies are told to avoid those types of animals today because they'll send people into an allergic reaction.) If you read in the Greek scriptures after Jesus was resurrected, these laws were done away with and anyone could eat anything (except for blood) and still be considered clean.

of course through out time God has changed His covenant with man. after the death and resurrection of Jesus. (Gods final covenant) God gave a vision to Peter which He showed a great sheet opened with all the animals. and God said rise Peter kill and eat. and Peter said " not so Lord! for I have never eaten anything common or unclean. and God replied What God has cleansed you must not call common.this is all found in Acts chapter 10. so God has given us the right to eat any animal. also if you really look at the list of animals that God told us not to eat(in the OT), do you notice the list that contains alot of animals that if not cooked properly and fully the would give food poising? which as mankind developed better cooking utensil was made able to do.

Well,let me tell you something.Down the Bayou where i come from many people make a living by shrimping,crabing and many other things from the water.We are down to earth people and are a lot of fun. and if God hates all things well, we are in trouble. What you are referring to is in the old testament. It's a Jewish tradition not to eat those things cuz they got sick afterwards... some people die eating those "abomination" stuff... cuz no refrigerators that time, weather-wise and such. Same goes to pig (muslims don't eat pigs) cuz they produce bacterias in the hot weather.
