Ask yourself this; why in the world would Christ come down, die, then give us all the instruction how to be saved, (Luke 13:3, Mark 16:16, Romans 6:23, Romans 3:23; these are just a few; if you need more, holler back!) So if He did give out second chances, what would be the purpose of anybody being saved, now, before He returns? I'm sure when we get to judgement day, there are going to be a lot of people begging for second chances, (if not everybody!) so what would have been the purpose of us living as He instructed now, if when we get to Judgement, we could just get a second chance? Seems pointless to me. Also, the comments people have made about the 7 years, etc, but it is going to be a tough time to live through, are referring to a time that will come upon the earth when the anti Christ will be in full force. You will not be able to even buy food to feed your children if you do not have the Mark of the beast in your skin. If people cannot live for God now, good luck trying to make it then when your baby is starving to death, and it's a choice between feeding your child, or eternal damnation, if you take the mark. So no, there aren't second chances, in the way people hope for. Neither is there purgatory. And contrary to a lot of religious beliefs, you can't be saved after you die, by having a priest pray over you; if anyone thinks they have Scriptural referance proving otherwise, lemme know. Best advice for you, proud mommy? (me too, by the way!) is to find a good, Spirit filled church, that has Scripture to back up everything they preach. If you wanna talk, lemme know.
THIS IS FOR P NUT this is the Scripture P Nut referanced: And have hope toward God, which they themselves also accept, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both the just, and the unjust. All this verse is referring to, is the fact that both are going to be judged by God. Look at it this way; Not just guilty people go to court, right? Sometimes, innocent people go before a judge as well. The judge determines whether they are guilty, or innocent. Unfortunately, sometimes earthly judges make bad decisions, even wrong ones. However, this will not be so with God. Those who have done as He said, (repented, asked Him to forgive them, etc) and then lived as He would have them do, will be given eternal life with Him. Those who have not, will go to the lake of fire. Obviously, not just the just are going to be resurrected; that would mean the unjust just rot in the ground forever. There's no dispute that both will be resurrected; but it will be to stand before God in judgement, not to automatically recieve eternal life with Him!

The age of accountability is NO WHERE in the bible. And I mean this is a pretty big deal, don't you think Paul or Jesus would have said something at least once?
No, because it is totally made up. We got one chance. And that was Jesus. Did He do what was set out to do? Did He save the world with His sacrafice or not? If He didn't, then He wasn't much of a God was He?
Our salvation has nothing to do with our actions or our belief in Him. That is why He made belief a law while He was alive, and then fulfiled all of the law and abolished sin.
The only thing we need to be saved from is the lie in our hearts and minds that we can be righteous by our own doings. That was the saving that Paul wrote of.

I can't recall anywhere in the Bible where it says that people will get a second chance.
From what I know, we have our chance here and now. The second chance theory is made from those who do not trust in the Bible as the whole truth, or who are uneducated about what the Bible says.

If you have a bible look up Revelations 7 it talks about you will have a only 144,000 people will come to heaven after the rapture.
Which is only the tribes of isreal in verse 4 and 5-8 still in chapter 7.
Hope that helps.

All of God's children.
Yes, there is a (sort of) 2nd chance.
During the Millenium, those of past Ages, that never had a chance to hear the Gospel, will be resurrected to live during that Period.
But it's still only His children that will heed it.
There are several Scriptures on this...but without a Revelation, you won't see it.
The Bible is not a textbook.

Well first let's think about it. God is a God of justice. Do you think it would be just or fair for all of the thousands of slaves and other people who maybe couldn't even read the Bible or know what a Bible is to burn in some fieryhell? Would that be fair? No! God is going to give all those who didn't get the chance to know him the opportunity to learn about him. (Acts 24:15)

There are many people who would answer this differently. God's timing and our concieved idea of time are totally different 2Peter 3:8-9.Some believe that the church is going to be raptured out first .others believe everyone will go through the 7 year tribulation period.still others that certain groups of people are going to be raptured at different times. One thing is certain God says that anyone who believes in him and his son-he sent his only son for a payment for anything that will ever be done wrong(sin), and people that ask for God to forgive them- the people that ask for forgiveness will spend eternity with him.Wether or not people that have recieved him choose to serve him or not is thier own choice. He gives everyone the right to choose-called free-will. He is loving and compassionate. If people choose not to serve him then they will miss out on the blessings he has for them in earth and in heaven. People are sealed by the sacrifice of his son-by the shedding of his blood. once they have believed and asked for forgiveness of the things they have done wrong, and accepted the sacrifice of his son-he gives us an inheritance and that inheritance is the promise that we get to spend eternity with him.God will give people a chance to accept him durring the tribulation if they live long enough. The earth is going to be in a terrible state durring the tribulation unlike the world has ever seen. Its can be read in the book of Revelation. I'm not going to take a chance on the timming I know my inheritance is secured by him. There are a couple fof verses in Revelation but it's probably best if you read it.Blessings VIJ

The Bible says that even nature itself teaches that there is a God, so no, there is no second chance once you die. He gives us all the oppurtunity while we are here. This life is to prepare for the next one.
In Romans, the Bible says that if we believe in our hearts and confess with our mouth, we will be saved. It's because of what Jesus did, not anything we did.

The New Testament tells us this:
Rev. 20:12-14 12And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. 14Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death.
This is what he spoke in the Old Testament... before Christ came...
Ezekiel 24:14 " 'I the LORD have spoken. The time has come for me to act. I will not hold back; I will not have pity, nor will I relent. You will be judged according to your conduct and your actions, declares the Sovereign LORD.' "
Neither one offers a second chance... So be ready!

Second chance existed way before in early Christiniaty so as the indulgencies. New Doctrine teaches that are not second chance and thank GOD.
WHo would need to go trough this bullshit once again.
Therefore GOD could not count to 2.
