What's wrong with straightening your hair? Even though a lot of people may do it, maybe it's just because they uh like it straight. Why do people have such a grudge against it?

First off when you start to do different things with the hair it weakens it. so it is not good for the hair at all thats why you have to use deep conditions and so forth. I been getting my hair hot pressed and straightened when I was 7 to 15yrs of age. After I turned 16 I started getting my hair relaxed so that it was more managable. Personally!! I dont care what other people think about what I do to my hair. They dont have to live with or deal with it.
But the people that may have a grudge against it may be people that have tried straightners and had bad experiences and have turned to trying natural products.

I don't think there's anything wrong with straitening your hair. The people who have a grudge against it are the ones who don't have to do it!!

People who already have straight hair have no idea what it's like to be curly. All the cute styles are always straight!

They don't understand the concept of the advantages of Flat Irons and oils used with the Irons. Education on flat irons and thier much needed oils are very important.

I don't have a grudge. I do it. My hair holds better together and looks nicer when your hair is pressed down instead of puffy.

I don't care if people do it. I wont chemically do mine because it is so damaging. If I want my hair strait I just use a iron to do it. but most times I like it curly.

hair straightening was really popular a few years ago and then was replaced by the "natural" look... bedhead... it will come back into favor again in a couple decades.

my hair is pretty much straight but i straighten it ne way lol i dont think there is ne thing wrong wit it

it's NOT good for ur hair. it gives u split ends!
extra tip- don't put hairspray in ur hair when it's wet, it's just as bad as straithgening!
and if ppl don't like u straightening ur hair, it's not their hair!
