Well, when you let him out... take him somewhere other than the driveway. Give him a designated area to drop his deuces. That should help keep the butt-mud off your tires.

train him the same way people teach dogs not to go on the carpet, keep an eye on him, if you see him about to go on the drive then tell him no and move him onto the grass, when he goes on the grass tell him hes a good boy. if you don't catch him in the act then scold the poop before you dispose of it, no point scolding him because he won't understand why if its after the fact, but this should show him that poop on the drive is undesirable. its always best to catch them in the act though

If you use controlled feeding methods, take him on a leash to where you want him to poop, and wait till he does. If he free feeds and is loose in the yard. Pick up the poop and put it where you want him to poop then show him where it is. Dogs generally poop in the same area. RE; always poops in the driveway

I had this same problem, it is such a pain. Don't let him go to the driveway without supervision. If you see him even begin to squat you need to move him to the grass ASAP. Praise him when he goes on the grass, and tell him NO firmly when on the driveway.
