Yes, thank you. I thank my higher power every night that I live in a country which guarantees my rights and freedoms, and extends them (in theory) to everyone. We 'fight fair' because it gives us the higher moral ground, and leaves us less open to accusations of butchery. We punish soldiers who act outside the limititations of 'fighting fair' because we are a country which values civilized behavior.

Why would or should anyone outside of the U.S. care if your soldiers die, anymore than Americans would care if anyone Else's were killed. I mean no disrespect but seriously, why would anyone else care. You wanted a War, You made a case for War, You got your War, and guess what, some people don't like it.Suck it up buddy. That's freedom and democracy, funny that you seem to think your way is the only way. I am pro military but even I have to say your sarcasm and whine seem a bit rich.
"Oh my God, some people don't like the War, Wahhhhhhhh", get over it. When you try to silence dissent, especially when you vehemently disagree, the terrorist wins. Fight your War, do what you must, but never forget the reason you fight, it's to allow all free people to have opinion, debate and beliefs. As I said, you take that away and you might as well crown Bin Laden the winner. Also, what country was it who gave ole Bin all his money, weapons, training and such........hhhhhhmmmmmmm, here's a hint, the initials are U S A.

They will sleep well because there legal friends (lawyers) are itching at a big fat taxpayer funded pay check. You see they believe that each of these terrorist is deserving of a good ole fashioned American (OJ style) trial. And since these "poor souls" don't have any money (that they aren't spending on blowing up America) we the tax payers will pay the $300 an hour legal charges for each of their many attorneys. Yes, the leftist anti American liberal is loving his ACLU membership and lawyer buddies quite well tonight.

i sleep much better now that the courts are doing there jobs .
we have rules and laws in america for a reason .they are to be obeyed at all times and by all people.
I am going to try to get this right , offer you a chance to answer me , if you can,understand this at all ,spelling punctuation and a coherent thought .BUT i am after all an un-educated liberal who sleeps better knowing the courts agree with common sense still and if they nuked us i would not want people deprived of there rights.
WE use to be a fair country with pride and values --that has been replaced by chasing a dollar sign and stepping on people to get ahead .

IF he is stupid enough to ask for more money threaten to export his job and make money the old-fashoned way charge intrest as you buy up everything he owns paying his debt to you the almight dollar man who toils not but deprives a man of his labors if there is a GOD when you meet him i pray he has mercy on your soul.

so, does what you call "fighting fair" include bombing a school with 19 children and thier 62 year old teacher in it?
Does it include killing an entire family, including a 4 month old baby with a bullet in her head?
Does it include using women at a market as sniper practice?
The US lost in Iraq the moment it set foot illegally in that country. And just like in Vietnam, will run home with it's collective tail tucked firmly between it's legs.

We need to fight this war on their terms. Start by beheading every captured insurgent. Detroy the mosques they are hiding in, and and use some old fashion type of tortures. like tie them to biting insect nests. And make a video of all of it, and broadcast it 24/7, and everytime one makes it to trial, we need behead their lawyer.
But heaven forbid, we should never take a picture of them, that would be torture.
