Bananas can make you gain weight but I think, in general, that this is very false. Fruit is great for you.
Too much may give you the runs but fruit is very good for your GI tract and helps clean it.
I went on a fruit diet for 3 weeks and had nothing but fruit.
I lost a lot of weight but felt great.

TRUE!!! If you are a diabetic too much fruit can and will play havoc with your blood sugar. With some fruits if you can get a very bad case of the runs if you eat too much. If ya forget to spit the seeds out you may wake up one morning with fruit trees and plants growing in your tummy...;-))

eating too much of anything can be bad for you....you have to eat a balanced diet. plus, most fruit contains alot of sugar.

too much of everything is bad........
1 possible reason i could think of is that too much fibre can cause constipation if you dont drink enough water.......but that pretty rare......normal cause of constipation is not enough fibre not the other way round....
