i think satan prefers we dont believe in him. the bible warns us about satan. that he comes to kill, steal, and destroy. that he is the accuser of the brethern and the father of lies. the bible tells us to beware of his wickedness and schemes and to put on the full armor of God so we can stand in the day of battle. if we do not acknowledge satan then we can not beware of these things or know how to fight against his schemes. satan wants people to have their heads in the sand so to speak. satan is sneaky and a cheater that will do whatever it takes to kill, steal and destroy. but he was help up in public ridicule at the cross of calvary. satan knows his days are numbered. thank you jesus!

Considering the commonly held idea is that Satan is some figure in red with horns and a pitch fork. I'd say should such a figure exist he wouldn't be doing anything but laughing at human stupidity!

I don't think Satan could care less. Did satan write a whole book begging people to worship him and then put it into mass publication.

If there were such an immensly arrogant being as Satan, do you really think he'd want to stay in the shadows? No, he would present himself as god to us.

Does it matter if he prefers?
even if you didn't believe him he is real... that's like being hit by a truck then saying i don't believe in trucks.
Satan is real. you need to know that so you can resist him and defeat him.
Eph. 6:10-18

absolutely... if you don't believe in satan.. then you don't believe that there is some being out there trying to get you to do evil in your life.. even if it is tiny evils.. tiny ones lead to bigger ones... and soon you do not recognize that they are evil.... and you become deafened to the voice of the lord telling you what is right and what is wrong.

God and Satan don't exist. They symbolise people's good and bad intentions, feelings and actions. So your question would translate as "Do you think our bad intentions would prefer us to believe they don't exist?" Or: "Do you think we'd rather think we don't have bad intentions?" Well, I think bad intentions are not to be denied.
