I know the obvious is not to eat salty foods/drink pop but please don't give me that answer

sit in a swimming pool for 20 minutes up to your neck! relieves the retention of water. doctor told my prego friend to do it, she tried it and so did i (not prego though) and it worked!!

You need to be drinking water right now. Water will actually relieve the bloating, but it might take a little while. That's about all you can do at this point. Bloating is caused by your body retaining water, sodium and caffeine both dehydrate you, so in reaction your body will start holding water, which is what bloating is. Drinking water will signal to your body that you aren't dehydrating it so it will start to get rid of the extra water it's been holding.

Don't take those water pills, they aren't safe for all people.

Go for a quick jog, do something to get your blood circulating. Drink water, but not tons and tons of it - in excess water can make you bloated too.

1 word: WATER. LOTS & LOTS of water. Drink until you can't drink it anymore, & then keep drinking it.

try taking water pills.... they are over the counter.... also, try some excercise to get things moving....... if your ankles are swollen, then sit and elevate them for a while.........good luck
