Depends on how bad your problem is, and your family genetics. Alcoholism runs through peoples genetics causing some people to be more prone to having a drinking problem. Sometimes the best thing to do is to find a therapist or some other outlet to help you out. I don't like A.A. though, they are too spiritual and in essence a money scam for a couple companies isnce they push books from one publishing company so much to people who don't have the mental will power to realize they don't need the books or the spirituality that ocmes with it, also A.A. becomes a factor to make people too co-dependant on the group. So I suggest seeing a regular therapist to increase your likelihood of not giving into temptation for drinks.

Then you are mistaken. AA is not a religion, its a community and program of recovery. It also has the best track record for people who have remained sober for over two years.

Now, you can dick around and split hairs, and say nothing works for you, and possibly die of alcoholism, or you can get with the program.

It that clear enough?

I would say excellent, but help is often needed, and an excellent program is out there with Alcoholics Anonymous, so check them out, I'm sure they will help you stay sober.

Good if you {work} a 12 step program & go to AA get a sponser. 90 meetings....90 days... Be as fateful to it .... as you were to the drinking. And you will stay clean & sober ...IT is HARD but, well worth it ....YouR worth it...... Thanks : )

It depends on how commited you are to staying sober. Your willpower comes from your resolve within. If you decide you're going to do it, then you're going to do it.

All up to how bad you want it. Nobody else can decide that but you.
