How about any future prisoners taken in Iraq or Afganistan not go to prison but be required to accompany all GIs on all roads in all vehicles.
No abuse, just ride. FREE!

No Gitmo is not going to close. The way I understand the story and the decision is as follows. The special tribunals cannot be done on 10 of the people, but the regular military courts can go forward.

Civilians should stay out of the war.
Future prisoners should be interred in POW camps for terrorists. One run by the Kurds.
