that's difficult to generalise as human beings selection even retarded ones. all and sundry has fee and a few of those toddlers and people who stay via adulthood even into previous age are a blessing from Heaven. The earth is the reward for guy as God's Kingdom would be on earth with Christ ruling after he has Judged the residing and the ineffective. Jesus mentioned,"different than you adjust into as a baby you will never enter the dominion of heaven" this is the dominion from heaven Matt 18;3. Luke9; 40 8.Human satisfaction is unacceptable with God. Retarded toddlers could be a cutting-edge to families and a reminder of the desire for humility.

Cmon...
Are you kidding me?
Maybe people who ask questions like this have to come back for a while as mentally challenged for a lifetime so they can see what its like. Dude how would you like to have to live in their shoes!?
Somehow though if you are serious, which I doubt you are, the answer is most likely that since the spirit and body are not the same that the spirit goes to heaven and doesn't have all the limitations that it did on the earth.
If you go into the concept of Buddhism then you're all about another concept which means that it takes many lifetimes to attain the right to go to heaven and one of YOUR lifecycles may be that of someone who is mentally challenged as part of the overall scheme of things.

Every person have their own choice to think, feel and react. So the people you are talking about might be mentally retarded for you but not for others. Also, there are rules for entering heaven(confessing that a oneself is a sinner and should be born again.)
If they fellow these rules for sure they will get into heaven. There is no "SPECIAL HEAVEN". There is only heaven and hell.

Excuse me, so you are saying that someone that is 'mentally retarded' doesn't feel the same as us or they aren't good people? All human beings are in the image and likeness of God regardless of mental ability, race or gender. So Yes they get into heaven with the rest of deserving people.

They would go to Heaven just like everyone else... You should not class them as different things than us. They are human and we are human. We both get judged as humans, no matter who you are.
And the "mentally retarded" people you mentioned deserve to be treated like any other human being, but one who needs more help than the rest of us.

Wow, your're an inconsiderate, and ignorant individual who obviously has little respect for a struggle that many go through...one that is serious, not of their own fault, and not in the least bit humorous. To ask such a question is obviously a right under the First Amendment but I seriously hope you find the insult in the question and the sheer idiocy.

I think the mentally retarded go to heaven. Think about it ... do you think God will hold a mentally retarded person accountable for his/her actions during their time on earth?

I think being Mentally Retarded is a free ticket to heaven. Maybe, it is a free ticket to reincarnation. They should get another chance of life, don't ya think?
