Former lovers who see each other only for sex do it because it is comfortable and pleasurable. Don't try to proceed back to a relationship though.

Hate is an emotion that gets the blood flowing and heart pounding, so often when you fight with your lover you have some of the best sex! So if the two are left alone in a situation even though they hate each other, sometimes passion will take over. Then they will hate each other even more but the sex might have been good!
I would say it is close to 100% if they are left alone together!
