i went there at that time; there were market stalls running in old town square if that's what you mean - they seemed pretty christmassy. From London, maybe 3 hours. From Ulan Bator, longer. It's feeekkkin cold but the mulled wine keeps you warm. Guy we met at airport on way back said he'd been three times that year and it was easily the busiest in november. He was weird. Don't know why we talked to him. Shivvvver. You'll love it.

Prague is one of many cities worth-visit and to do that you can start planning your vacation with hotelbye . Starting with the wonderful place around the Prague Castle or the Strahov monastery with its outstanding selection and finish with …the entire great town, Prague is just incredible. In Prague you can also visit the small house where Franz Kafka labored or the lovely Prague Castle gardens from where you could enjoy a special see of the town with its picturesque red roofs. In this town you will never get bored. In the event that you should go throughout the spring you will find the spring trees in flower; in the summertime you will dsicover long dusks; autumn will give you decorative leaves and unique mild and in the winter you will love the entire city protected with simple bright snow.

I flew from NY to Berlin in June '05 and it was about a nine hour flight. Prague should be about the same or maybe a tad longer if flying from NY.

As far as the weather in Nov, I don't know. June weather was about 85 degrees f.

Warning to visitors to the beautiful city of Prague: It is known for it's professional pick-pockets and car thefts. We had no problems though. Most cars that are stolen, I'm told, end up in Poland in chop shops. There is a joke that Poland's Travel & Tourism bereau's motto is "Come to Poland. Your car is already here".

Czech Republic does not use the Euro. It has it's own monetary unit. Most things are very cheaply priced there. I was going to buy a large mb card for my digital camera, but it was about $60 here. In Prague, I bought one for about $15.

Beer is also very cheap there. Coffee though is about $6/CUP!

Take lots of pictures! And make sure you walk across St. Charles Bridge!
