I personally do not believe in any god, but some people have to have something to make them feel more secure.

Because people don't think their God, gods, Goddess, or whatever is a jerk, that's why they believe it.
Why do you have such a problem with others' personal beliefs? Haven't you ever heard of tolerance?

what's the point in no longer believing in him? to boot, each medical concept ever invented finally factors to an same properly end. something had to make the universe. We did not spontaneously exist. I call this author God.

You do not believe in God, well what has made you dislike him so much?
People wonder why this world is so full of hatred and violence anymore, it is because of people like you. So many people has abolished our God out of their lives, and then they wonder why this world is so messed up. I will pray for you and hope that you ask for his forgiveness because the day will come and you will be decided where your soul will go, and i do not think it will be where the ones that still believe in our God are going.
I feel sorry for the miserable life you lead.

Waha! This is the DOGS section, not the GODS section.
Feel free to exercise your right to religious freedom, but respect everyone else's and stop ranting about it. That's a very private issue, not meant to be discussed on a public board about pets.
I, for one, do not wish to hear everyones' opinions about religion. It makes me nauseous. Everyones' beliefs are offensive to everyone else... Just let it go, please. Or go find the religion department where all of the peaceful people are no doubt screaming at each other about technicalities.

This person asking these fool questions is a kid home from school and bored.She has posted several questions like this just today.She keeps posting under different names.I can tell its the same one by her poor grammar and speech.What I want to know is where are her parents and why are they having a computer babysit their urchen child?Maybe she belongs in a cage!I think I'll pause here for a sec and pray for her,she really needs it.

what are you talking about? i think god is wonderful. i don't go around blaming him for everything bad that happens. what happens to us down here is what we silly humans make happen. god gave us free will and unfortunately we use that free will to it's fullest and then blame him for whatever turns out bad. grow up and take responsiblities for what you do and what ensues.
i nefver understood the bible when it says to fear god, what it the fear of god supposed to mean? it's contradictory. i believe god is god, wise wonderful and all loving and is incapable of anything negative. the problem i see with humans is we transplant our human traits on to a perfect god and make him responsible for the crap we all pull when he had nothing more to do with it than give us free will and choice. we make he best and worst of what and who we are. do you think god would kill someone or allow someone else to kill someone or cause other catastrophies. ofcourse he wouldn't. he created all "this" and it is up to us to make the best of it. my friend said once if something happened to her injured son she would never forgive god. come on! would god kill of an innocent child just to keep the universe in line? no no no. circumstances are what they are.
