--I clip off the ends, clean them, steam them, then saute them in roast garlic, oregeno, butter and maple-glazed bacon bits. Yummy!

Wash beans then pinch the tips off with your fingers then break in the middle.

break off the ends, and string the bean to get rid of the string in that seam. If you dont get rid of the strings, they will be all in your beans and its a pain. I always break one end off and pull downwards while using the end piece.this pulls the entire string out usually.
